IMI convened a workshop on Immigration Experiences of Developing Countries at the 13th International Metropolis Conference

> 13th International Metropolis Conference: Mobility, Integration and Development in a Globalised World

Questions about immigration policy and immigrant integration are almost uniquely discussed in the context of migration to wealthy countries. This coincides with a relative neglect of the immigration and integration experiences of developing countries. This workshop explored how states of developing countries have developed immigration and integration policies, and compared these with policies of wealthy countries.
