Critical approaches to transit migration

Hein de Haas has published an editorial and article in the new special issue of Population, Space and Place (July/August 2012).
The article, co-authored with Michael Collyer, is entitled 'Developing dynamic categorisations of transit migration'. It considers the ways in which the dynamic nature of transit migration may be captured in categories that provide a basis for developing our understanding of the phenomenon but do not attempt to artificially pin it down.
