About IMI

IMI Team 2012The International Migration Institute (IMI) was established in 2006. It is a member of the Oxford Martin School and forms part of the Oxford Department of International Development, where it is based.

Our work complements a number of other institutes within the Oxford Martin School that bring interdisciplinary research to bear on the problems and opportunities of the 21st century. The School is funded by the generous benefaction of Dr James Martin, one of the world’s leading figures in information technology.
